Remote Desktops

Perhaps you have recently started a business and are trying to build your client base. Salespeople out on the road every day, working on getting new business. You don't want your salespeople to be left without documents they need while meeting with important clients. Or consider an established business with remote workers, or a CFO who needs to access critical financial data from home. You can empower your employees to have important data at their fingertips, at all times.

Remote Desktop enables you to connect to your computer across the Internet from virtually any computer, Pocket PC, or Smartphone. Once connected, Remote Desktop gives you mouse and keyboard control over your computer while showing you everything that's happening on the screen. With Remote Desktop, you can leave your computer at the office without losing access to your files, applications, and e-mail. Your sales force will be able to access the latest pricing sheet from on the road by using Remote Desktop.

Server Virtualization

Most servers utilize only a portion of their processor, memory, and hard drive for the task at hand. Server virtualization allows you to utilize one physical server to host multiple virtual servers which allows you to receive more value from your hardware investment. Additionally, utilizing virtual servers allows you to save money on power, cooling costs, and administrative overhead.

When you have multiple physical machines which have been virtualized you now have an environment to allow for nearly instantaneous disaster recovery in the event of a hardware failure on one machine. As space becomes limited, additional physical servers can be brought into your environment and the virtual servers can be moved from one physical machine to another with zero interruption to the users, allowing uninterrupted continuity of business.

With virtualization, you can:

  • Cut facilities and hardware expenses
  • Reduce labor costs with secure, productive outsourcing and off-shoring
  • Attract and retain key talent with flexible working alternatives
  • Rapidly deploy branch offices
  • Minimize down-time with business continuity
  • Simplify regulatory compliance projects
